2012 WLC Budget-with final 2011 figures

The weather forecast looks good for this Saturday morning- sunny and in the 60s – a perfect fall day. WLC members will be setting up our “market” on tables behind the post office, 10 AM – noon. Drop by – come see what your neighbors are growing/making!

For example
fresh eggs
freshly baked bread
fudge
homemade pies/cookies
local wine
local maple syrup
local produce (that is, if Irene and Lee didn’t completely decimate it!)
vineyard vines (think rustic wreaths)
bee keeping demonstration (more…)

The latest issue of WAG Magazine (its publisher and creative director is Waccabuc resident, Dee DelBello) has 2 excellent articles in it written by former Waccabuc resident, Dana Ramos.  She has spotlighted, in 2 separate articles, yet other Waccabuc residents – Broadway producers Fran and Barry Weissler and author Philip Kunhardt.

Please read all about the Weisslers here.

Please read about Phil Kunhardt here.

from Linda Broudy, Editor of the Waccabuc Report ( a semi-annual publication of the Waccabuc Landowners Council):

They say a photo is worth a thousand words. So feast your eyes on this Picasa Web album for an encyclopedic look at WLC activities of the past six years! You can view all the photos either as a slideshow or individually.

I’ve snapped the photos at the many and varied WLC events for the Waccabuc Report….or just because I happened to be wandering about, camera in hand, and something caught my eye. (I took all the photos unless indicated otherwise; the historical photos were acquired from various publications or Mead family archival material.)

Have a Waccabuc photo you want to share? Send it to waccabucLC@gmail.com In the meantime, check out the album!

This particular issue of the WLC newsletter, published in Spring 2008, contains an extensive article written by Warren Schloat, in which he interviewed long time  Waccabuc residents Susan Henry, Tim Smith and Waldi Gullen.
